That Genesis song in Mona Lisa. Totally doesn't belong.
The score in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". Yikes! Irritating, annoying, stupid!

Well said.
How about any Moby song in a movie? Not that I don't like Moby, but remember in around 2000-2001 when his songs were in EVERYTHING!?!?!
Nick
i thought the moby song in freddy got fingered was priceless.
Nu-metal used as background-music is always horrible!

no, you need to see more vin diesel flicks.

I've seen The One with Jet Li that was a disaster. The Fast and the Furious is the ony Vin Diesel film I've seen, and I don't remember any nu-metal. I'm sure you are thinking about XXX.
My heart will go on in Titanic, puf! i want to vomit just to remind it
and Moby is not so bad
How about having Prince do the soundtrack for Batman? It was half-way cool back in the day, but today it just makes me cringe.
Nick
Wang Chung score for To Live And Die In LA. Dates the movie pretty badly.

It really seemed appropriate yet soooo out of place in The Beach. I mean, watching The Beach you think "Hmm...this movie needs some Moby in the soundtrack...". Then a Moby song comes on and you realize just how much it doesn't.
Wasn't every single song on one Moby album used for commercials?

I'm a little tired, and I hope you're joking. It sounds like you're suggesting someone to view a Vin Diesel movie willingly.

Probably the album "Play"... and I guarantee the first song you're thinking of is "Porcelain"...

Songs from Play were licensed over 1200 times!!! Talk about Moby being a hipocrit... "no i hate the mainstream and commercialism... but then i go and sell out by licensing my music to everyone"... not that I wouldn't have done that too!
Nick
the tarzan soundtrack, especially the part where he grows up to the song of phil collins.

am i the only one willing to agree with bonanzataz on that xxx is a brilliant movie?
I'm not looking forward to the Phil Collins soundtrack on the upcoming animated Disney movie about bears. I forget the title, but it has the boy from The Bernie Mac Show as one of the voices.

Here is a good choice for this thread:
10.the song during the end of Spiderman...something like "Hero" or something
Quote from: KeenerThe score of Scarface. Ewww...
i agree completely. I've always said that movie would be good if you just changed that horrible score. totally ruins the film for me.
Every song from Randy Newman, damn, i really hate that guy and his voice.
d'you ever see the episode of family guy with randy newman. crap episode but that part was hilarious.
crap episode? that was my favorite one, I think.

oh yeah, that was a great part as well. but the whole thing with the apocalypse and y2k and stewie turning into an octopus just felt tired. it reminded me of 1999 when all the sitcoms did y2k parodies and i hated that, especially since now i find the sitcom to be the lowest form of comedy (excluding seinfeld, of course).
this should be retitled OFFICIAL Family Guy appreciation thread.
