P.T. Anderson does a great job of having an isolated atmosphere for his movie, "Hard Eight". If you look closely in the opening scene in the background of the two men talking, there isn't too many people. When the camera zooms in on the coffee cups, in the background there are no cars in the parking lot. Some of it is unrealistic, but I love the way it takes us into a different world and a different time. There's jazz that plays at the casino and I've never heard jazz at a casino before (I would love to though). Everything in that film is very atmospheric and really beautiful just to watch and hear.
no it's not.
Of course it is. What isn't???
