For my XL-1, I have the Bogen/Manfrotto 3036 sticks. It has a maximum height of seven feet, minimum of sixteen inches, and is pretty rock solid. I also have the 501 head, which was pretty much made with the XL-1 in mind. Excellent gear.

Manfrotto 510-10 Pro Video Head.

It's a ball mount and fluid head. It's a thing of beauty. I like to put it up in my room and stare at it.

The legs, I'm not sure, I got the most affordable set that was required for the heavy-ass head.

Seriously, you should get one of these bad boys.
