Hi!
So now, how is P.T. Andersons feature-film-debut called officially?
In Germany it has got the title "Last Exit Reno".
In America you can hear "Sydney" or "Hard Eight".
What's right?
As far as I know, the PTA wrote it as Sydney, but the studios thought it needed an edgier name. And as for the other title, europeans are strange
It was never actually released as "Sydney". That's just how drooling fanboys (and girls) like us refer to it because that's PTA's title of choice. As far as anybody outside this forum is concerned, it's called "Hard Eight".
Except for the Germans, who are, in fact, as Duck Sauce pointed out, strange.
I think in Bulgaria, its title -- loosely translated -- was "Parking Lot Security".
In some parts of the south I believed it was called (after a loose translation, of course) "Hush Monkey Orange Hotel Smile" or something to that effect...
