I'm more than halfway through this first season. It's a lot better than I was expecting. It's created by the same woman who created Southland. I have not seen Southland but have heard good things.
The tone of the show feels like a Michael Mann movie. The cast is great and feels like an ensemble cast from a Michael Mann movie. It is lacking things that are keeping it from being a great show but still way better than what I was expecting.
I know for some parts it's kind of some stupid, forced drama/humor, but...can't help wanting to watch it.
