I admire how loyal Jose Whedon is to his actors, but at some point you have to accept that Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker are the furthest thing from Shakespearean actors.  Reed Diamond seems to acquit himself well, which just makes me want to go back and watch all of "Homicide: Life on the Streets" again.
