Haven't found a thread so thought it was a good time to create it. First teaser will come out soon.
My company Radical Studios is producing this, together with Chernin Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Directed by Joe Kosinski (Tron: Legacy).
Starring: Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Melissa Leo and Andrea Riseborough.

Guess nobody gives a crap for now... I think everyone will soon!
Maybe some more information about the actual movie, even just a log-line, would increase our crap-philanthropy.
Everyone else on xixax doing big things like producing flicks starring Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman, directing flicks starring Casey Affleck, directing music videos for Aesop Rock and Curren$y, covering international film festivals for notable websites and publications, etc, etc, etc.
And I'm just sitting here masturbating.
Dream big.

Unfortunately not much out there yet that has been released 'officially' by Universal, but several articles and content from Radical on The Googles.
I will post new things as they come out. All the coverage the film had so far had to do with TC's divorce during filming. I think the teaser will be out soon (possibly Bond).

I actually do! ... and id like to know what's your company doing for the movie? yes, producing but what exactly, and in what aspects are you involved with it...
Radical developed the idea with Joe Kosinski and sold it to Universal. Now Radical is producing together with Universal.
There are multiple incredible images and art developed by Radical, but they were never released to the public so that the film is not spoiled. They will be out someday. The movie looks incredible.
Dude, congrats. That is amazing. Definitely looking forward to this.
ha just found out my buddy Lin Oeding did some stunts for this one. Hope you guys met!

That's a damn fine poster.
Very cool.
Beautiful poster.
Nice trailer.... Looks pretty snazzy.
Here's the Apple link so you can watch HD. I think its amazing and they do a great job at showing a lot of cool stuff without revealing ANYTHING important about the plot and what happens.

looks amazing, you're gonna make a killing!
i just hope it makes sense.
I love the the look of this. Looks a million times more interesting than After Earth.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned that Michael Arndt is a credited writer on this. Which is kinda interesting since his next big movie is a little thing called Star Wars VII.
Kal, is this one as spoiler-free as the last one? Debating watching this or just going into the film clean...

New Trailer
It's like the voyage in
Contact from James Woods perspective.
Even though there was a graphic novel (never published) and the story has gone through MANY hands, they did a great job at keeping most of it SPOILER FREE. I'm not saying some of the smart peeps here won't see it coming, but most people are in for some good surprises!
Hey JB, apparently Susanne Sundfør is on the soundtrack! (http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/m83-conquers-the-silver-screen-in-starwaves-song-premiere-20130306#ixzz2MlsMYuKh)
boy they really fucked up the Morgan Freeman AMA in promotion of this (http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1c5zxh/i_am_morgan_freeman_ask_me_anything/).
hope kal wasn't in charge of that debacle, it was worse than the Rampart one.
M83 performed the titular song from the soundtrack on Kimmel, featuring JB's girflriend, i mean, good friend:
it kinda sucks.
SONY SONY SONY SONY SONY
Yeah, that wasn't good. Unimaginative songwriting, not nearly weird enough. We didn't even get one note of Susanne's higher register. I blame M83.
against the insulting criticsm this movie has received in la. for life reasons i skipped the screening, but this year i'm like fully sure that movie culture is being damaged by boring movie criticism that's nasty bad literature. some narrative q's, idk, but
k
^cranky about critics day
i'm bad at disliking movies for having a couple boring spots. like, i suspect this movie is a place beyond the pines. i got really into it
auto-fan of joseph kosinski (never seen his tron legacy), claudio miranda is winning a partygame (benjamin button to life of pi to tomorrow land), and fan of the electronic music (good closing songs). i think the camera crowd is going to be "good job"ing kosinski and miranda. it hasn't and won't excite the narrative crowd. k
i was curious about the production, which i haven't read about, and these were my fav imdb things:
QuoteTom Cruise celebrated his 50th birthday on the set. To celebrate the milestone, director Joseph Kosinski presented the star with one of the futuristic motorbikes from the film. Tom also gave the director a present of his own: a die-cast model of the bubble ship in a glass case.
and this entire conversation:

I enjoyed watching this movie (getting drunk before was a good idea). Still film can be bashed from so many angles and that is main problem with it.
- Script - I can pass on most of the issues listed by critics. Although one thing did bother me a lot: female characters. One of the worst female characters I've seen this year. Those women were hysterical beyond stereotypes: cry or sex were the only valuable options for them.
- It is all CGI. I'm not fan of CGI overall, but in Oblivion it was great (it didn't bother me at any time).
- Color grading: teal and orange. Digital gives so many options and we get another movie in this narrow palette. Just look at this frame (books in the middle).

The first half of this film would make an awesome videogame.
I thought some of ideas were cool, became a bit of a mess in the second half. The film couldn't execute some of the huge ideas and concepts with any real weight.
Visually interesting designs (I like their crib) and a pretty cool soundtrack at times.
