Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane
Directed by: Seth MacFarlane
Premise: A story centered on a man and his teddy bear, who comes to life as the result of a childhood wish.
Biggest movie of the year right here.
Worst movie of the year right here.
I hope this is not another case of "let's put the funniest parts in the trailer".
hate the premise, but love the thunder song.

Yeah that would be a shame especially as they forgot to put any funny parts in this trailer.
Yikes. This is embarrassing.
So it's Wilfred but no where near as smart/charming/funny?
I'm just wondering, why do you guys reckon it's bad? You're all entitled to your own opinions of course but I'm just curious.
The trailer.
Family Guy

Look at what Ebert said in his review:
"The funniest movie character so far this year is a stuffed teddy bear. And the best comedy screenplay so far is "Ted"'
He gave it 3 1/2 stars!!
Mod, you've seen some shit. What would give ole Ebes a good run for his money?
Ha, what do you mean?
My 5 word "Ted" review: Funny but not neccessarily good.
I'm just asking who you think the funniest character and best comedy script of this year are so far, since you are in the know and please, God, please. It cannot be this.
I guess that's kind of irrelevant though. You don't have to answer.
Generally, people see comedies to laugh, and this movie is funny. It doesn't try to transcend the genre or be anything other than a straight up joke comedy. It's a stupid, funny movie--nothing to get upset about.
I just hate Seth Mcfarlane and will resist him as long as I can until I finally give in, smoke a bong and laugh at this on my friend's couch. Plus Wahlberg really gets to me, everytime I see his stupid face I just want to throw up. Big, dumb, Stupid face.

But it's funny, because that's just what Dirk goes and does in the bathroom scene after the shot in my avatar.
Let's keep not talking about Ted, please.
since there's no Wahlberg thread and we've all vowed never to speak of Ted here again, I thought I'd post this very funny clip of Pete Holmes' Wahlberg impression:
...did you see Ted?
