Premise: After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar's door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold's house ends with the "high grade" contents --and Harold's father-in-law's prize Christmas tree --going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven --and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high
I looked it up, and apparently Kal Penn resigned his post at the white house to film this (then returned).
What's worse, he left his job at the white house again last month to join the cast of How I Met Your Mother.
hey I went to college with the director. he's always making bro comedies. they're funny bro comedies though.
Honestly I'm still just upset that Kal Penn left House.
See, this is a movie where the 3D is part and parcel of it. Fuck all those tentpoles trying to make extra cash off 3D tickets, even though they don't. It's just a novelty. It's good to see a movie that recognizes that and it having fun with it.
