no one on this message board will see this movie
Hopefully.
I would not pay money to see this, but color me interested. It looks quite bad, but as someone who's just a little bit obsessed with pop country music, I would probably enjoy mocking it when it airs on VH1.
this trailer was actually booed in my theatre.
I saw this last night, and it was a truly frustrating experience.
The movie had some really interesting characters (though at times cliched), but the movie just didn't know what to do with them. At times, there were some good scenes with the characters in a semi-ad libbed conversation, but then they immediately throw in a scene right out of a CW teenage melodrama. Incredibly inconsistent. The director should have just left the characters alone instead of trying to push a plot forward.
There is just not enough good parts to constitute seeing this movie, and I ALWAYS stay optimistic while watching. There was too much frustration seeing the movie making wrong turns over and over again.
