Marc Forster to Stay at Regency
Monster's Ball helmer Marc Forster is in final talks to direct the supernatural thriller Stay for Regency Enterprises. The Hollywood Reporter says Forster replaces helmer David Fincher in the project, which is now on a fast track.
Written by David Benioff, the film is about a psychologist at an Ivy League university who tries to prevent one of his students from committing suicide.
Forster next directs J.M. Barrie's Neverland, starring Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Dustin Hoffman, for Miramax Films. Forster's upcoming slate also includes the Benioff-penned Alpha at DreamWorks Pictures and Dallas Buyers Club at Universal Pictures.

Do you believe you can will things to happen? As for the other, shame, sounds like a good Fincher project, but Monster's Ball was so delicately handled this is optimistic.

I read a script review of this. It sounds pretty lame. I'm glad Fincher turned it down.
I think Marc Forster is a good director. Monster's Ball is great and Everything Put Together is pretty good too. I'm really hoping that Neverland will be great.

I do remember...when xixax first started...there was a thread that sphinx was involved in (but what
isn't he involved in?) that had a quote longer than that. I've been looking for that for a while....still nowhere to be found...did that "longest...quote...ever" get deleted?

You needed to add that photo cause Naomi barely appears in the trailer...
so, he did this BEFORE finding neverland (which itself was delayed like a year?) this wont be very good. despite talent involved. it will probably be okay though but contain twists that are over-used.

He did it after Neverland; and yeah, it looks incredibly tiresome. Here's my guess as to what the twist is: Ewan's
dead!!! And that's why the dog barks at him.
A-Bomb spoilers, b/c I read the script and it sucks balls:
The whole movie is a 'dream' of sorts. Gosling's character is in a car accident on a bridge (hinted at throughout), and the whole movie is basically his hallucination as he dies. Ewan and Naomi are revealed to be characters who are there on the bridge trying to help as he dies-- and are not who they are throughout the whole movie. So bascially, it all means nothing. 'Stay' is what they're saying to him as he's fading away to the dirtnap. CRAP CRAP CRAP.

Stay's twist will be no Still's.
Uh... Jacob's Ladder... uh... the least they could do is have Gosling do a lambada with a demon...
And how does super mario get involved in all of this?
They said the name "Latham" a whole bunch of times in that movie. At least it sounded like Latham, but it's not how I pronounce my name, which really pisses me off for some reason. LAH-thum? Bullshit! It's LAY-thum.
