I don't know, but it gets my vote for Worst Trailer EVER. My god, it's horrible. And they mix some crappy pop song and the score for the Insider...wtf?

With every film he makes, Andrew Davis proves that The Fugitive was largely a fluke.

I saw this movie and loved it. A rare time in when I stopped trying to analyze and just fell into the midsts of the story which proved not only to be ballsy, but very original and very refreshing. I wouldn't even know where to begin in how to critique this movie, it is so weird but yet feels so good in what it does. There are so many moments of disbelief, but after 25 minutes and the story is rolling, you don't care because it is too good of a ride and you really do care about the people here. And to the people who were fans of the book and fearful of the movie, don't worry, because the author himself wrote the screenplay. Film Student said the worst problem with movies today is essentially conformity. I don't agree at all when talking about grown up films for that, because that division has always been there and the division is very obvious for all of us. My own feelings for the worst aspect is that movies are trying to please too much on first viewing. But, on looking at movies that are aimed directly at kids who are still impressionable, conformity to standard mind numbing plots is the worst aspect for sure. It's a very nice feeling when a movie like Holes comes around and plays to that audience and is so fucking imaginative.

This looked good to me and I really want to see it, probably more than any other movie in the theaters right now. Ebert said it was Willy Wonka-ish so that made me really interested and I think Shia LaBeouf is pretty funny. Im still debating whether to go by myself and look like a weirdo or wait for it to come to DVD.

My largest complaint about this dog of a movie is its miraculously ass-minded score/soundtrack.

I saw it, and I think it was badly directed and even more poorly edited, but the story was really good, really original, and kept me engaged even when my mouth was agape at the poor filmmaking choices. So I give it a marginal thumbs up.

Yea. I have good things to say about it, but only grudgingly. I like Shia LaBeouf, but most of the acting was so hackneyed that it was painful. The story, interesting as it is, is drowned in a sea of cheese through which not even The Champ could swim. Maybe the book is better, but the movie gets a thumb sideways from me.

Holes was surprisingly really good. I thought this movie would suck balls.

the only thing that was bad was the songs in this movie. Whoever was in charge of that is a fucking imbosile. They were both corny stupid and gay.

Shia LaBeouf hit on a girl i was hooking up with.

Anyway, I think you could have a great porno with this title that opened around the same time as this one. the advertising would be like...

"you've seen Disney's Holes... now see cindy's holes. cumming soon to a porno theater near you!"
