I'll see this, whether I like it or not.
Russell Brand is too much. Can't take him.
i laughed at "my butt's getting wet".
that's about it.

Literally.
lol. He seems to be at his fattest in this, too.

so nobody has seen this?
it was funny. i was expecting more for some reason. i remember laughing a lot more when i read the script a long time ago so maybe i had very high expectations. anyhow considering there's been a lot of shit lately, this is solid and worthy.
jonah hill is the shit.
I saw it. Not what I was expecting.
Elisabeth Moss is the shit.
this was kinda choppy and messy. the threesome bit was forced in for laughs, and there were lots of scenes that appeared to be cut in weird spots...as if they liked a few jokes from the scene, but didn't want to include the whole thing. still, i laughed.
it really was just a shittier almost famous.
I saw this twice and its fun, enjoyable, and ultimately predictable. Still decent fast food to munch on if you have nothing else to do.
MILD SPOILERS
I saw this and forgot about it. It had funny moments, but overall I thought it could do with having Russell Brand's character be more of an unabashed hedonist, rather than having him try to change in the end. Diddy's scenes were particularly funny. If this was on TV I'd probably watch it again.
Saw this last night and agree with Ravi's comments. Was pretty much what I expected, although the third act was too cute. I enjoyed it overall. I found myself looking forward to Diddy being in a scene. Kinda glad I didn't blind buy it on the strength of Sarah Marshall, but if it was on TV I'd probably watch it.
Agree with the last two posts. Saw it today with my girl, and we both laughed while commenting that this was one of the most insane movies we'd ever seen. Not nearly as good as Sarah Marshall, but it's decent enough and a good time.
and i agree with the last three posts. i quite enjoyed/was pleasantly surprised with the mars volta bit and the "this is the longest hallway of all time!" "it's kubricky eyyy?"
Kubrickian
why do i suddenly like this movie without having ever seen it or having any intention to see it?
i've heard all i needed to know.
