Hey, guys... so a few years back I co-wrote and worked in various capacities on an indie thriller here in Washington State, and after a long and laborious process, it was finally released on DVD today.  It's a fun movie, not high art by any means, but an entertaining thriller with a sense of humor and a cast of actors who are bound to be famous any moment now.  So pretty please, buy it or rent it or put it on your Netflix queue, recommend it to strangers on the street, give a bunch of copies to underprivileged children, and so forth.

You can watch the trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZznRXNWBbM) for it, and if you decide to (be awesome and) buy it, I highly recommend ordering off the website (http://gpsthemovie.com/buy.asp), as we make much more profit that way than if you buy off Amazon or in the store.

I appreciate any and all effort you guys put into supporting the movie, even if it's just putting it at the bottom of your Netflix and never actually watching it (believe it or not, that still helps).  If you actually end up watching it, even better.  You're bound to be entertained.  And it would totally be doing me a solid at the same time.

If it helps, the Seattle Times called it "Well crafted and genuinely tense".

Great trailer, the accident on the bridge looked good. Also a couple of hot chicks in there. Definitely a must see if you're in any way related to the project.

The actor in the green t-shirt looks like the singer from Counting Crows.

Anyway I'' order it on the website so if it was a april fool's I'll scream.
they don't ship Canada  :(

I'll let you know what I thought of it !

Sweet, thanks!  Sorry, I didn't realize that we weren't shipping to Canada.  I don't know why the hell not.  You can still order off Amazon, though.   :yabbse-smiley:

Amazon.com shipping rate is killing me, it brings the total to 30$US which is 37$ for me.  :(

I'll make a couple request from different emails over the week for the film on Zip.ca which is the canadian Netflix, maybe they'll buy a couple

Yeah, I wouldn't ask anyone to pay $37 for it.  The rental thing sounds like a much better option.

yeah ! didn't mean to hijack the thread. The movie looks good so congratulations I'm sure it's a big success. I'm sure this Sean Gleaves guy is gonna make it.

Also I just had a beer (3-4-5) with another Xixax Sean who's making it big time with his film. Sean is a good name.

Very long wait. Does that mean they'll pay for another rental copy? $$$$$

That's the idea, anyway.  The more people request it, the more they have to buy to keep the customers happy.

Thanks so much for all the support, you guys.  It was a long, hard road getting to this point.
