So I had to take my little cousins to the movies and they wanted to see this. I was bummed considered that Revolutionary Road just opened here and a few others I still want to see, but anyways. I hadn't laugh so much with a Jim Carrey movie since, ever! This is really funny and considering the stupidity of the idea itself its very well done. For anyone who loves stupid comedies, you should go.

Not bad, it won me over, though the ending felt way too quickly sewn-up-with-a-bow. Not as "stupid" as the ads or kal have you believe. I think the main reason to see it is for Zooey. She is just so fetching, and gives the film a heart, even when she's singing awesomely bad performance art break-up songs.

the writing was actually much better than i thought it would be. but it was put together in perhaps the safest, most conventional way possible. there is nothing surprising or interesting in the direction. this coulda been classic carrey. instead it's one of his better not great movies.

I was re-watching some parts the other day on the plane and realized how much fun this is. I still think many things about it are stupid, but damn Zooey Deschanel is amazing and the part when she is singing is my favorite in the movie.

I want that band to exist. I love those songs. So glad they were included on the extras.

Zooey is a part of a band that played at coachella....she was awesome when I saw her.
