I just came back from this, it was a nice little concert documentary, more lighthearted and less self-important than most, and had some real nice moments.  I shedded a few drops of tears when a drunk Jerry Garcia, after a drunken jam session with like everyone on the train, told Janis Joplin that he'd been in love with her since the first time he saw her.  It was said in a real light-hearted fashion, but man, that was cool.  They showed some cool Joplin numbers, apparently this film was shot just three months before her death.

This movie was incredible. I, too, wept a little when Janis and Jerry shared drinks and good times onscreen in the train. Truly touching.

AND JANIS JOPLIN"S PERFORMANCE IS UNBELIEVABLE.

Wow. I am now addicted to the Band as a result of this movie.

Such good music, such interesting people, such a great documentary.
