Apparently, some British folks made this zombie film for $70. It's told from the zombies' point of view. They borrowed a lot of their makeup and equipment and relied on volunteers to be zombies. It's getting a bit of buzz at Cannes: http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/21/Colin/index.html

I do find it hard to believe that they had to buy a crowbar but they could borrow makeup from X-Men 3. Nonetheless, I'd be interested to see how it turned out.
