I can't really remember Half Baked I've always been totally stoned while watching it!

Slick Shoes

When I was a little kid, I pretty much just watched the same movies over and over again. UHF and Ferris Bueller's Day Off are the ones I've probably seen the most.

Interestingly enough, my old roommate and I used to put those movies on, turn down the volume, and recite the lines into a microphone I had hooked up to my stereo. You have no idea how fun this was. The neighbors must have thought we were psychotic.

Other movies I have seen way too many times include: Back to the Future, The Goonies and Problem Child.

Since all the movies listed above are literally part of my sub-conscious, or "part of my DNA," as Mr. Anderson would say, I wonder what would have happened had I watched, say, The 400 Blows instead of Problem Child, Playtime instead of UHF.

"As a matter of fact I only work with the feeling of something magical, something seemingly significant. And to keep it magical I don't want to know the story involved, I just want the hypnotic effect of it somehow seeming significant without knowing why." - Len Lye
