i think i'm going to watch this film over the weekend. c petzold is probably my favorite living director. before i watch it, i'd like to recommend his stuff. phoenix might have some issues cos i think he tried to ground it and some parts of the story ended up looking too silly, but transit is where i think he got confident with some real art shit and made a masterpiece.
i don't know anything about this one, so we'll see.
saw it. wld highly recommend it, but i'm afraid it's not as exciting as his last two films. paula beer and franz rogowski are so fucking good, though. whenever i see this kind of acting i'm dreading the moment these ppl are offered a role in star wars or something.
