Well, I know the people around me always start crying when I break into my Southern drawl and do this scene:

Forrest: Lieutenant Dan? Lieutenant Dan!

Lt. Dan: Hello, Forrest.

Forrest: You got new legs. New legs!

Lt. Dan: Yeah, I got new legs.

Lt. Dan: Custom-made titanium alloy. It's what they use on the space shuttle.

Forrest: Magic legs.

hmm, i cry alot in films...i cried at the end of rashomon, but purely out of joy since the overwhelming emotion I felt of A) a terrific movie B) a poignant thoughtful message on mankind C) the score.  Also cinema paradiso is amazing...its one film i really enjoyed.  Just listen to ennio morricones score that alone is amazing...i also think its because my english teacher showed it to our class, and well i have the utmost respect for him...and he pointed out things to help, as if I were to show someone magnolia...it helped the movie alot

The ending of Manhattan...

Shoot the Moon...

Boogie Nights, when Amber breaks down after the custody hearing, and when Rollergirl asks Amber if she can call her "mom"...
