I was there each night for at least an hour and I had the most fun at PDL.  I think the whole chat while you're watching works best for a more lighthearted film.  I think we should have like a weekly movie using this format.  But they should be kept happier ones to fit the mood of chatting better.  That or maybe like a Lynch Festival...that would be awesome.

i, too, had a good time. yea, weekly shit would get old, but monthly sounds good. how bout the last day of every month, end each month on a good note. i'd guess we'd just vote on what movie we would watch. i say we keep it fairly mainstream, i.e. movies we all own or that are easily available.

If we're going to do something like the monthly thing, or the film club mentioned in a thread a few months back, it should probably be a bit more organized and thought out than just the mention of a few films to choose from.  It should range from the education, accessible, and entertaining, which is something that's hard to do.  Hence, the need for thought.

I missed out on the festivals (the times didn't fit my schedules) and I won't get a copy of 'PDL' for at least a month (I'll most likely get a 'timecode copy' at the video store I work at first, speaking of which, have any of you overseas worked at video stores and gotten 'timecode copy's of movies a month beofre they're released?).

Anyway, skim reading through all these transcripts was fun. It's obvious that you guys had the most fun with 'PDL'.
