i am pretty happy with this years awards.  even things i didnt vote for, i dont neccesarily have a problem with them winning, as some categories i was pretty torn on to begin with.  the only two categories i passionately am angry about are DEBUT and DVD.  how long till the decapitationathon?

I remember going to JoBlo.com years ago. What's insane is the number of people that post on there. There's almost an endless number of people who frequent that board every day. What's terrible is that if you make a thread for any foreign film before 1990, you'll get less replies than here. Going to the criterion forum, all you get is foreign film discussion and love of whoever is the obscurist. That is a nightmare in itself. Xixax is a medium between both extremes but I think could use more film discussion.
