gus van sant? ...please explain.   hey was "gerry" any good?....havent seen it yet.. eh.

I say:

-Terry Gilliam
-Akira Kurosawa

it's crucial that they have their own categories.

actually, those were two men i considered and almost named

i just figured Kurosawa was so stereotypical

anyway, I have not seen Gerry

we will never get that film here (until video/DVD)

still, Drugstore Cowboy is phenomenal.  My Own Private Idaho and To Die For are magnificent.  Psycho was a misstep, Good Will Hunting was pretty swell, and I doubt FF is all that grand.

I look forward to both Gerry and Elephant

well there's a category for kubrick and what's possibly more stereotypical than kubrick?

Yeah Finding Forrester SUCKED.. terribly. and really the only thing i liked about good will hunting was Elliott Smith's "Miss Misery" at the end. i havent seen any of the other titles you mentioned though... ive seen the trailer for gerry and i have some amount of faith in it.. i could see it as easily letting me down though. Elephant?.. i dont remember hearing about that one.
