Idk Cooper, but me at 17 years old would be mortified of bloopers of me at 11 being shown to the world.

He seems like he could be cool with it though, so who knows

"'Man' : I like the sound of that."

Hmm, maybe the beloved PTA is making a point?

Best wishes.

LP, apart from all else, is a pleasant compendium of filmic references. Here are six reflections, from a theoretical infinity of them. If any of the following has been already mentioned, please pardon me :

1. When Alana and Gary sit down in the booth at their first date, the off-camera clattering that Gary reacts to may be a ghost of Punch-Drunk Love (an early appearance; there are others).

2. The Alana-navigating-the truck-backward sequence is a brilliant evocation of the "person against the elements" vibe of Wages of Fear (1953) and Sorcerer (1977); this same vibe is captured by Tarantino, just as brilliantly, in the hammering-of-the-stakes sequence of Hateful Eight.

3. The baseball dugout at night recalls Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982).

4. Bunch of Kubrick references (e.g., camera set-ups; character behaviour).

6. Alana talking sexy on phone to sell a waterbed : Nice 1930s vibe.
