Screenwriter: Mark Spragg (cowriter of Gross Anatomy) and Virginia Spragg (feature film debut)

Premise: An impoverished and abused mother, Jean Gilkyson (Lopez), finds that the only option left to her and her pre-teen daughter (Gardner) is to move in with her father-in-law (Redford) to live on his Wyoming ranch, even though they have been estranged for quite some time. (Lewis plays Lopez's abusive husband.)

Awww...

BORING.

That's what we need in movies.  More scenes of older guys teaching kids how to drive a car.  How very coming-of-age.  And scenes where an older guy kicks some younger punk's ass with a coffee holder thing.  As an audience member, I just can't wait to cheer when he does that in the movie.

And Morgan Freeman looks like he's doing Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby combined in this role.

The film itself will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track.
