last life in the universe?  what's that?

it's a Thai film from a few years ago, directed by Pen-Ek Ratanaruang (i might have spelled that wrong). It's about a guy whose brother comes to visit, bringing some problems from home that will make it difficult for the man to come back to his apartment. Extremely depressed and unable to appreciate the remaining order in his life, the man stays with the sister of a woman who dies early in the film. As the woman he's staying with prepares to move on, he helps her by getting some things in order. it's beautifully shot and edited.

Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.

Falling in love is the greatest joy in life. Followed closely by sneaking into a gated community late at night and firing a gun into the air.
