It was a mini-series about alien abduction that originally aired on the Sci-Fi channel last year. Didn't see it, but it got some good reviews.

My dad watches that kind of stuff and he said it was truly aweful. I don't know how reputable a source he would be to you guys, but he gets "slightly better taste than the average Joe" points, so when he tells me he didn't like shit like a mini-series, I usually take his word for it.
