i have an idea. ... everybody who wants to could send in a short project to somebody who can compile them onto a xixax dvd, and then we could purchase them for $10 over the cost of production or something like that.
... perhaps it's a crappy idea because only a few people would participate, but i figgered i could at least put it out there.

Another idea is to have a DVD auction and the proceeds go to Xixax. Some of the users give up some DVD's that are sitting in their collection, people bid, winner get's the DVD and the winner's money is donated to Xixax.
I've got a couple I'd donate.

Here's the problem. It seems like donations have been coming in big chunks from just a few people. The best way for it to work is for everyone who appreciates Xixax to give something. Doesn't matter how small. And it's anonymous.

I don't have a paypal account, but I've been meaning to... I just know I'd make too many exceptions and lose all my money on deepdiscountdvd and such...

I know that was a joke, but just to make everyone feel at ease I thought I'd peek my head in and confirm what Jeremy has stated. The board's "unfunded" message went up on the 27th, and that day we got 6 donations. On the 28th we got 3 more. (ranging in size from $5 to $50).
