I voted Platoon merely because it was extremely gut wrenching to watch...on a personal level though, it's a toss up between ET and Roger Rabbit b/c those were two instances of my early years as a filmgoer...plus, I still watch Rabbit when I can.  There's just something so beautiful about that film...oh yeah, I know what it is: Jessica Rabbit.

I don't know about the best. One of my personal favorites that isn't on the list is Wall Street.
