Still hiding the pointiness of the ears from us. Obviously they know it's the only thing I care about.

(Previous Batman costumes have not had pointy enough ears for my taste)

This is when I miss the marquee.

Also I never noticed the lack of pointiness and now it's bothering me too. So THANKS.

These tiny little nubbins were Zack Snyder's greatest crime:

Now these are some ears you could set your watch to:

This is the best portrayal of Batman I've seen, not because of its grimdark level, but because it actually takes him seriously as a character. Most other Batman movies put him in a suit that doesn't allow the actor to move his head, then opt to spend time with Bruce Wayne instead, which being the real "mask" never reveals much of interest. This movie reverses those conventions, and finally the dynamic works.

I love how strongly the film self-identifies as The Grunge Batman. I've never seen a Gotham this grungy. And the way it takes on "Something In The Way" as its theme song, while not subtle, is beautiful and satisfying. Oh and Paul Dano's performance is just as deliciously strange as I had hoped.

I haven't seen it yet, but for the record I'm very satisfied with the ear choices.
