Dang, the photography and emotion in this film caught me by surprise!

Jude Hill is genuine and such a joy to watch read and live, a performance as Buddy that holds so much wonder you believe this village of Belfast must hold a spirit as strong as his and his family's. Also dug the Van Morrison score, grateful nostalgia all over the film. Goes without saying that Dame Judi Dench and CiarĂ¡n Hinds are bringing sturdy awards caliber performances, so note that CaitrĂ­ona Balfe iz right there in step.

That Jamie Dornan can do Barb & Star and this film, both assuredly, earns him some major props.
