I'm just starting a thread about it in case anyone else has questions, too.  

Who do I contact in a PM so I don't have to waste time posting asking for it again if I want it changed?

And, out of curiosity, what does it take to become a Mod?

there's no set rule to becoming admin.. there are prerequisites i would imagine, like an extensive knowledge of Xixax and ability to use the search function. the ones that are currently in place are mostly carry-overs from C&C, which Mike chose to keep. Ghostboy, Taz and Cbrad are the exception, having been chosen out of the xax crowd for exceptional ability to be trusted. i think the only condition really is that Mike approves and trusts u.

long before xixax, there was a message board at ptanderson.com. one day, a young starlet named Jacki Lynn made an infamous thread boasting her credentials in the hopes of working for Paul Thomas Anderson himself. the thread was called  'PTA is a soul shaker', in it she described herself as an "inspiring actress", she obviously meant Aspiring (or did she? we will never know).

needless to say, the essence of xixax was alive and well even in those days, everything she said was unintentional comedy gold. "soul shaker", "inspiring actress", and classic expressions like "spreading my soul's sercret" were just a few of the running gags Jacki Lynn gave birth to. god bless her, wherever she is..
