Title: Ghostwriting/Script Polishes?
Post by: Convael on April 19, 2011, 03:57:12 PM
Does anyone here know if Anderson has done any ghost writing or script polishes in his career (that he obviously didn't take credit on)?  I'm just curious cause I always think it's interesting to find out something like Charlie Kaufman doing rewrites on Kung Fu Panda 2...thanks if anyone knows.

This is a different category, but he helped direct much of A Prairie Home Companion.

Some of it was speculation/rumor, but he definitely had a hands-on role...

"the producers of the film probably insisted that Altman commit to a "backup" director because of his age ... and some say [Anderson is] basically running daily production of the film. [...] Between cuts, Robert belts directions over a mic while PT runs up to stage and speaks with the actors directly."
