Hiii guys...when i was searching any good suburban movies, i came across Suburban Wildlife....so, what you guys think about this movies? is it good andd worth the time? Suggestions plz.
Regards, Nori_Kirisaki
I think you're confused, the movie is actually called "Suburban Commando"
Hope that helps!
I love Richard Linklater's "Suburbia" and "The 'Burbs" is good too.
Don't know about Suburban Wildlife but boy does that Chumscrubber (2005) tickle my fancy
Oh, cool! That one passed me by, I must've always had it confused with Thumbsucker (2005). My brain does that
Edward Scissorhands
and E.T.
Those are two on my list I've been waiting for the right time to pop in
A Serious Man as well!
I feel like there's one more on the tip of brain... but it just... won't... :ponder:
Virgin Suicides.
Ice Storm.
Blue Velvet.
Over the Edge.
Back to the Future! :D
Well, you know. Boogie Nights. :yabbse-wink:
And Magnolia. And Punch-Drunk Love....
And Licorice Pizza.
Halloween.
Damn nobody mentioned Donnie Darko?
Sometimes I wonder if we've done the full loop and Donnie iz back in good graces.
According to Richard Kelly, he took a date to see Fire Walk With Me (https://birthmoviesdeath.com/2017/06/30/trying-times-podcast-episode-five-the-great-escape-with-special-guest-richa)and she fell asleep. Hence, the movie theater scene in Donnie Darko.
So there's two suburban flicks worth their angst - the stranglehold of adolescent routine, and the performative virtue of everyone therein.
Friday!
Aight I'll keep the ball rolling.
