Detour (1945):

Has anyone seen this film-noir masterpiece? It's directed by Edgar G. Ulmer. I really enjoyed it, though it was very short and simple. The voice-overs are really great and the way it's shot is just so damn cool! I highly recommend it!  It's coooool..... 8)

I tried to rent this picture from my college library, and guess what?  It was a shitty video of it, several years old, and not treated well.  Anyway, it was unwatchable and I have yet to see it, which saddens me.
