Lion King DVD... worth getting?

Ok, so I vaguely remember being into this movie when it first came out... but now i'm interested in seeing it again to see how bad it's aged, and also to see the extras... and because I have a 3 year old niece that would probably love to see it... am I looking for too many excuses to buy a movie i'll probably regret paying $20 for later?  Does anyone know if the extras are good or not?
