Timecode

How do I get the timecode to show in the frame? Is there a feature in say AVID or Premiere? I have no clue.

The mixing place needs it.

in FCP you just have to enable it....I'm sure it's semilar in AVID and Premier.

I don't know about premier but avid does not have that function, which sucks, but you should be able to find a free plugin for it.  I believe both sapphire effects and boris have this effect.
