Quote from: travisbickle1000Forgive me for saying this, but even though i love all the Kurosawas, Scorses, and Coppolas, I dont think they are quite as talented as PT.

Welcome to Xixax...

You know that PTA is heavily influenced by Martin Scorsese right...you are almost contradicting yourself...but yeah PTA's great.

i know that PT is heavily influenced by Scorsese, so is almost everyone that has come after him. I also know that PT is not the most original director or writer ever (although in recent years he might be) what i'm trying to say is that even though PT owes a lot to his predecessors, it is in my humble opinion that he is more naturally talented in the art of movie making than almost anyone out there.

Oh my god, no.  I've never even seen that movie.  What a shame if that's the same name.  Just made it up (before the movie came out).

The Perineum Falcon

maybe it's the name he used on other boards.
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.
