"You just brought piss to a shitfight you little cunt."

This show rules.

Christopher Evan Welch kills.

And he is unfortunately dead (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/actor-christopher-evan-welch-dies-661638).

He is great as the Steve Jobs character in this show, Peter Gregory. I can't find a link to his Ted talk in the show.

He was great in The Master (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBoIPm5vEX4).

He's great in Synechdoche, New York. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9PzSNy3xj0&noredirect=1)

He had some amazing potential and it's really hard to watch two psh masterpieces back to back knowing that there's another casualty among them.

The guy who plays Erlich Bachman is great in this short film with Lizzy Caplan, Successful Alcoholics (http://vimeo.com/16640746).

but this show is hilarious.

watch it.

Interview with Mike Judge about the death of CEW, starts at the 10:00min mark (http://www.kcrw.com/media-player/mediaPlayer2.html?type=audio&id=tb140512mike_judge_and_alec_)

fucking love this show.  i haven't felt this immediate an affinity for a group of characters since freaks and geeks, really.  judge is the mark twain of work place comedies, if mark twain were really fucking lazy, smoked weed, and substantially less ambitious.  as squints already said, this show is hilarious.  that glorious, drawn out dick joke in the season finale is a thing of beauty.

Agreed. It's my favorite show right now. Richard's last minute epiphany was a bit expected but forgivable given it was so well done. Can't wait for season 2.

The jerkoff diagram must've been fun to make. Kumail Nanjiani is stealing the show for me.

Why didn't you tell me Kumail Nanjiani is in this?

Kumail is also somewhat of a regular on the Harmontown podcast, and he's recently started his own podcast called The X-Files Files, wherein he rewatches all the episodes of The X-Files and discusses them with guests.  First episode was released a few days ago.  Pretty sure Dan Harmon will be on an episode very soon.

why doesn't anyone give a shit about this show?!

this season was fucking outrageously good and the finale was one of the most perfect episodes of TV comedy I've ever seen.

this is my favorite show. mike judge is my dude.  gonna watch it again from the pilot, like, now.

I'm very torn about how I feel about this show for a simple reason - I'm an entrepreneur and I know way too much about what these guys are going through. I also know real world versions of pretty much every single character in the show, which is awesome.

SPOILERS

The problem is that some stuff is way too unrealistic and stupid. Even in the finale, too many things just don't make sense. The lawsuit, there was NO WAY they would have lost that lawsuit because Richard used a computer at Hooli once. Doesn't matter what the law says, those things are non-enforceable in the State of California and the Judge will ALWAYS side with the startup. (the tie scene was awesome btw)

Secondly, the board can't remove Richard and fire him even if they control more seats. Actually, the board cannot even buy Hanneman's share without approval from everyone else. It's a long process. As funny as it may be if someone else is the CEO and what they want to setup as S3 conflict, Richard is still probably the largest shareholder and they can't get rid of him.

Yeah, I know it makes no sense to go into so much detail, but even shows like The Office and even Office Space lived within the realm of possibility. For the most part, this show started that way but they've gone out of their way to make it more outrageous. Deleting 1/3 of the porn site doesn't happen because those dudes probably have 10 backups, and so on.

I think it's held to a higher standard because of all the things it gets right. It's a comedy show first and foremost though and those inconsistencies work on that level.

I think this ties with Veep for the best TV of the year for me (so far). This season was absolutely stellar.

Kal I've read so many conflicting opinions on the validity of the case decision and Richard being fired it's hard what to make of it. I agree with digger that ultimately it's a comedy that takes certain liberties here and there. Which doesn't bother me.

My favorite moment of the season was the porn episode and all the porn company names. This show can do a recurring visual gag like no other.

I like this show too. I cringe at the fact that the witless soulless YoPros in my San Francisco neighborhood are walking around thinking they're anything like the lovable snappy bunch of losers from the show, but that's just what you've got to live with I guess. I love the subplot of the dude failing upwards though.
