It's hard to imagine a combination of filmmaker and actor that makes more sense than Adrian Lyne and Ana de Armas. But Affleck is way too white-bread to fit into this equation. They need someone with real sleazeball charisma: your Bardems, your Fassbenders, your Colin Farrells. Ben Affleck just exudes "fucks under the covers with the lights off" energy.

Gonna hold off on the trailer until I've seen the flick, so that more of it iz enshrouded -- but mannn am I excited.

The first hour or so of this iz really interesting, especially for how Tracy Letts seems to suspect this dutiful husband as much for his success in drone warfare as for his behavior around his wife, and she seemz to lord the (im)moral aspect of his wealth against him in kind.

There's certainly something interesting to be gleamed from

and how that could tie into the technology his character developed i.e. are you really so removed as to not care? Or is your manner of care a notion of control.

That she would stoke this fire to gauge his desire for her iz fun.
Then, unfortunately the film gets a bit predictable in its final act.
