less then zero to remind me if it was any good after reading the book

i saw the film as a kid older cousisns rented it, and i was just sitting and watching it

so i wanted to watch it now , with a new prespective

this i will say, good soundtrack, jami gertz should never have been cast as the hot female lead and well robert downy jr got a lot into his charecter in real life, method acting maybe ??

james spader will and always will be the creepiest actor ever and thats a compliment much like chris walken can only play a chris walken esc charecter

spader can only do a spader type role, proof ??????? secretary

and di you read his interviews during the secretary era, the man is a freak

"Ernest Hemingway once wrote: 'The world's a fine place, and worth fighting for.'  I agree with the second part."
    --Morgan Freeman, Se7en

"Have you ever fucking seen that...? Ever seen a mistake in nature?  Have you ever seen an animal make a mistake?"
--Paul Schneider, All the Real Girls

by the way i dont know if i made it clear but i liked less then zero,

its about rich kids fucking up their lives because they can

why not , they dont have to work or worry about shit some people do

and im far from working class so no soap box shall i stand on, and i have been to many of these partys they show in the movie

you can be rich and come from a "perfect" ( i said perfect with a ironic sneer)  family and still be a fuck up or a maniac look at

DICK !!!!!!!!!

From rules of attraction

Bret Easton Ellis, knows this world pretty well

and these type of college kids dont post online its too hard to do when your fucking and doing coke while waiting for your friends to buy a keg

the college kids we have here i suspect are kind of differnt then the ones
Bret Easton Ellis writes about

me i quit college , i was bored with the creative courses i took film/writting/ that sort of thing

now i just teach disco to old woman

Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands, with all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves, let me forget about today until tomorrow.

you cant find network ??? look at small hollywood video type place's with old titles

blackbuster threw their old movies away

Raikus

I watched it last night. Loved it. I had seen pieces of it years ago so it was nice to see the full assembled movie. So many elements in that masterpiece. I'm trying to watch more of Chayefsky's works. Altered States is next on my list.

I'm telling you, just blind buy it. It's so fucking great, you won't regret. Ned Beatty's ranting monolgue is worth the price alone.

I just got Les Bonnes Femmes, Chloe in the Afternoon, Last Year at Marienbad, Le Bonheur, The Thin Blue Line, and Twin Falls Idaho, from the library.
Those who say that the totalitarian state of the Soviet Union was not "real" Marxism also cannot admit that one simple feature of Marxism makes totalitarianism necessary:  the rejection of civil society. Since civil society is the sphere of private activity, its abolition and replacement by political society means that nothing private remains. That is already the essence of totalitarianism; and the moralistic practice of the trendy Left, which regards everything as political and sometimes reveals its hostility to free speech, does nothing to contradict this implication.

When those who hated capital and consumption (and Jews) in the 20th century murdered some hundred million people, and the poster children for the struggle against international capitalism and America are now fanatical Islamic terrorists, this puts recent enthusiasts in an awkward position. Most of them are too dense and shameless to appreciate it, and far too many are taken in by the moralistic and paternalistic rhetoric of the Left.
