Title: Letterboxing
Post by: Chest Rockwell on November 29, 2003, 03:49:05 PM
I just bought the Eyes Wide shut DVD and noticed the full frame, 1.33:1 ratio, and came to ask why that is. Then I read some previous thread about 'letterboxing' the frames. What is this? And how is it done? This is more out of curiosity than actually implementing it on the movie, but in any case I'd like to know. Oh, and as a side note, I was fine with the 1.33, though a little taken aback by it at first. Anyways, if someone can explain it to me, I'd most appreciate it.
