I'd never seen that before.  Jason Robards was perfectly cast.  I'd love to know when this interview was taped.

It says that it was recorded in 1995, two years before Ernie's death.

Well, there's our explanation for the SOGGY BOTTOM catering.

Some of you will recall I was vegan for 18 years.  From a nutritional standpoint, it's not good...so I will light an extra candle on my altar for Paulie.

(As a friend waggishly replied when told of the vegan catering, "He should have just given up smoking instead...")  :lol"

Might explain why his legs are so skinny - they're like bone wrapped in skin when he crosses them over.
