but a comicbook isn't a storyboard; how the panels play out on a page against each other and how a page is composed, the layout dictates the rhythm of a story, and a good comicbook oughta be read that way.

No, Pete's right.  A good comic artist/writer knows that things can get spoiled by things showing up out of the corner of you're eye.  It's carefully planned out so that things are revealed at page turns.  The way the panels fit together are a big part of the comic.

i did end up buying the new iPhone... my 3GS has started randomly bricking, which i can't deal with because i need it for work. i don't want to give up my unlimited data plan and i didn't want to get another 3GS for the same price of the new phone, so here i am.

Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.
