buy it.  it's worth every penny at 2x the price.  this is a beautiful example of how to do a film to video transfer properly.  on a good monitor, this dvd looks like film.........and it's a gorgeous film to boot.
- no need for chapter stops.

the portuguese R2  has the exact same extras (minus the press conference) and it's only one disc

Cigarette burns are cool. Although there is probably something lost in not being at the theater listening to some fucking moron on his cell phone behind you while trying to concentrate on the film.

Cigarette burns are cool but whenever I see them I think of how they usually pop in every ten minutes and then I think of how many cigarette burns I've seen and then my thoughts turn to how much of the film is left.  :(  Or at least that's what happens when I see them in movies when I'm watching from my house.   I don't get bothered by it at all in an actual theater for some reason.
"A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later." --Stanley Kubrick
