i think.  this is hard.  some things that used to be favorites, arent anymore.  but then some newer things dont seem like they deserve an 'all time' status.  some of these will probably change in a year or two, but some will be there forever.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

I made this list with a few more rules for myself.
Only albums (not greatest hits) > This really had an effect on my top 10.   It would be much different had I used greatest hits, and classier (w/ Prince, Beatles, Isaac Hayes, Rolling Stones, etc)
