i know we want to keep the banners pretty strictly cinema, but is it cool to make some banners out of the cunningham, jonze, and glazer director's label stuff? not just the short films, but some music videos too.
Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.

I would say as long as you stick to the director's label stuff and not just pull out any random music video, and as long as the banners are super awesome, it should be okay.  These rules are pretty arbitrary anyway.

Or I'm wrong and I'm about to be ungraciously de-admined.  *fingers crossed*
Now you're in the *spoiler* place.

rules are made to be broken.

either way, those rules were broken epochs ago. haven't we had Arrested Development banners??

music videos are cinema, often the "purest" examples of it. so i say bring 'em on.

or i'm wrong and i'm about to be ungraciously banned. *fingers crossed*

These are amazing, but I feel like I'm going to have a stroke looking at them.

Someone please help me out with what movie this one is from.  Is it "Night on Earth"?

Yep. That's Winona Ryder.

Jacques Tati must be so glad his 70mm epic was turned into this...

Kind of annoying that there's no way to check what movies some are from, though I found these to be awesome.
