Understandable.
"As a matter of fact I only work with the feeling of something magical, something seemingly significant. And to keep it magical I don't want to know the story involved, I just want the hypnotic effect of it somehow seeming significant without knowing why." - Len Lye

Howdy, all...

A newbie here; though I've been reading Xixax for about a month now, I only joined just this weekend.  I LOVE the banners/marquee, so I wanted to contribute.  I hope these pass muster, and if they don't, please let me know what to do differently next time!

Thanks...

Uploaded.  :yabbse-grin:

I eliminated a few because we have some similar images.

When I opened the site to log in, I was greeted by Large Marge.  Heh heh!

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

Polite request: please try to name image files in the future. (Those were all from Wild At Heart, right?)

Time for some teaser banner happiness!

Hey.
Newbie to this whole banner thing, but thought I'd give it a whack (from pretty much the only source pic I had on my computer).
Will make more (have a few lovely caps back home of a few Takeshi Kitano movies that I want in there) once I can.

Is this alright?

For those not in the know, it's from Girl With A Pearl Earring

No surprise if it's been done already with all the slavish fanboys there are here. (Myself included.) If that's the case, sorry about the repost.

i capped that exact picture a few months ago and i saw it up there as a banner once but maybe it got taken down because i havent seen it since.  there was actually a comment a page or two back about it.
cries silent tears because i always used to make the 'coming soon' marquees

There are worse things in the world to have doubles of.  :)  But if it's already up there I'm sure it won't get by JB.
I did these at work so the only capping option I had was quicktime trailers. Sorry.
