I just heard "The Mollusk" ... mmmmm great stuff! Some of it is a little juvenile, like you can just hear them snickering but some of it is great. My favorites are:

I'm Dancing in the Show Tonight
The Mollusk
The Golden Eel
Buckingham Green
Ocean Man
"Hunger is the purest sin"

Ween is one of my absolute favorites. I just have a problem taking their "serious"- stuff seriously. Know what i mean?

here is a funny ween story, while filming NBK oliver stone would blast ween music all the time and it drove woody harrilson sick. He hated it

This story came out right after nbk came out, and some people thought it was just a joke that the guys from ween came up with, But later when oliver stone made U turn he used " Piss up a rope" by ween. So i guess its true he is a fan

So Quebec is out... I'm listening to it right now... good stuff so far...

though all thier albums have a different sound, this one sounds more like the Chocolate & Cheese stuff so far... I'm enjoying it.

Ween gave a great interview on the Onion recently...

Ween is friends with a mobile two-piece band called Less Pain Forever (formerly Lush Budgets Presents The Les Payne Project).  If anyone has seen or heard of LPF, please let me know...

from ween.com:
We are in full scale recording mode on our new album at the moment. We have been working almost every day in our new recording/rehearsal space, a 200 year old stone farmhouse on a lot of land in Bucks County, PA. We have a huge batch of songs and we plan on keeping it going until the well runs dry so to speak. It's a little early to predict when, where, and how the new album will be released, but the music sounds great and it feels good to be back in our natural habitat--recording in a shitty old farmhouse with a leaky roof and a rodent/insect infestation. And black mold. This is the most writing and recording we've done in many years and I can't wait for you guys to hear our new shit.

the musical ADD of this band never ceases to impress me. their albums are like amazing mix tapes.
Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.
