she looks kinda slutty hot, in a sorta nasty-dirty kinda way.

PTA should give her a call and tap that ass...
Those who say that the totalitarian state of the Soviet Union was not "real" Marxism also cannot admit that one simple feature of Marxism makes totalitarianism necessary:  the rejection of civil society. Since civil society is the sphere of private activity, its abolition and replacement by political society means that nothing private remains. That is already the essence of totalitarianism; and the moralistic practice of the trendy Left, which regards everything as political and sometimes reveals its hostility to free speech, does nothing to contradict this implication.

When those who hated capital and consumption (and Jews) in the 20th century murdered some hundred million people, and the poster children for the struggle against international capitalism and America are now fanatical Islamic terrorists, this puts recent enthusiasts in an awkward position. Most of them are too dense and shameless to appreciate it, and far too many are taken in by the moralistic and paternalistic rhetoric of the Left.

Favorite Song: "Calling All Angels"

Worst Lyrics Ever:

Calling All Angels
by Train

I need a sign to let me know you're here
All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere
I need to know that things are gonna look up
'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup

When there is no place safe and no safe place to put my head
When you feel the world shake from the words that are said

I need a sign to let me know you're here
'Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me

And I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels

When children have to play inside so they don't disappear
And private eyes solve marriage lies cause we don't talk for years
And futbol teams are kissing Queens
and losing sight of having dreams
In a world that what we want is only what we want until it's ours

I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels
"Hunger is the purest sin"

Yeah... you like that song?

Train is like the band that probably likes good bands and tries to emulate them, but just can't get it right.

That or they may really like some really good music, but like a couple really shitty bands (like, perhaps, Hootie and the Blowfish) too.

Either way, they almost write decent sounding music, but can't write lyrics for shit, but probably hang around dumb people who tell them they're "Deep" so they don't know any better.

No no, it's Meet Vagina....
more than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. one path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. the other, to total extinction. let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.

Speaking of bad lyrics, I just want to get this one out there:

Superman (It's Not Easy)
by Five For Fighting

I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
I'm just out to find
The better part of me

I'm more than a bird
I'm more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train and
It's not easy to be me

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I'll never see

It may sound absurd
but don't be naive
Even Heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed
but won't you concede
Even Heroes have the right to dream but
It's not easy to be me

Up, up and away
away from me
It's all right
You can all sleep sound tonight
I'm not crazy
or anything

I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
Men weren't meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I'm only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me

It's not easy to be me.
"Hunger is the purest sin"

I thought that was written for Smallville, and that's why it was like that.  It was purposeful.  At least I hope so.  I still say Train's stuff is great, especially When I Look to the Sky (which has some stunning vocals, too), but to each his own, y'know?
